Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecom Installation Technician to join our team serving the Paarl area and surrounding regions. You will install and configure telecom equipment, perform structured cabling, and conduct site surveys to plan installation requirements.

The role requires proficiency with installation tools and diagnostic equipment, strong knowledge of cabling standards and testing, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Telecom Installation Technician or related field.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, networking principles, and cabling standards.
• Proficiency with relevant installation tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling to sites in and around Paarl.
