Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecom Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale network projects in Mahikeng, North West. This hybrid role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, coordinating engineers, technicians, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications, ensuring compliance with standards and smooth handovers to operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in telecom infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6, agile/waterfall methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of telecom infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project budgets and track expenditures, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status reports.
• Ensure successful handover of completed projects to operational teams.
