Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical telecom projects in Rustenburg, North West. You will plan, execute, and deliver infrastructure rollouts and service implementations, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources with a focus on quality and stakeholder alignment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of telecom project management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Project, Asana, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years project management experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record managing complex infrastructure and service delivery projects.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Asana, Jira.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, budget, and resource allocation.
• Manage project execution, tracking progress against milestones and making necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage vendor contracts and performance to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future projects.
• Champion best practices in project management within the Rustenburg region.
