Placements24 seeks a meticulous Telecom Billing Systems Analyst to join our client in Mahikeng. You will manage, configure, and optimize the billing system, ensuring accurate invoice processing and revenue integrity across the end-to-end lifecycle.

The role requires a strong SQL background, billing systems experience in telecom, and analytical problem-solving in a hybrid setup with some remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with billing systems, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue assurance, and subscription management.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Mahikeng office plus remote capability).

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the telecom billing system, including product catalog, rating rules, and customer accounts.
• Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies, errors, or opportunities for optimization.
• Process and validate billing runs, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing-related issues, collaborating with finance, customer service, and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor billing system performance and key metrics.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new billing features and functionalities.
