Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and innovative Telecom Solutions Architect to design and guide the implementation of cutting-edge communication systems for its Vereeniging operations. This senior role requires a deep technical understanding of telecom technologies and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams to shape the future of our client’s service

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of telecommunications experience with at least 5 years in a Solutions Architect or senior design role.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end telecom solutions, including network, voice, and data services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements for new projects.
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for integration into the existing infrastructure.
Develop technical proposals, blueprints, and implementation plans for complex solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and deployment teams.
Ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, security, and performance objectives.
