Moving Tactics invites applicants to join a 12 month paid Technical Support Internship in Cape Town. The program partners with Yes4Youth to prepare you for market readiness.

Qualifications

Technical Support Internship (Cape Town)

Look no further, Moving Tactics offers a 12 month(Paid) internship that is in partnerships with Yes4Youthto get you market ready.

In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria:

• 18-34 years old
• Candidate is definedin accordance with theBBBEE definition
• South African citizen
• Unemployed
• Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously.

This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with atechnical background and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for providing on-site and remote support, assisting with stock control, and ensuring smooth technical operations. Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Conduct daily meetings to plan and discuss upcoming tasks with relevant teams.
• Support technicians, installers, and engineers with troubleshooting and on-site requirements.
• Configure and test SOC screens, LTE routers, media players, and access points.
• Identify and report faulty equipment for repairs or replacements.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the technical office.
• Ensure all stock inventory is correctly labeled and stored.
• Perform administrative duties within the technical department.
• Assist the General Manager with miscellaneous tasks as required.
• Maintain consistent communication with teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Stock Control

• Assist theRegional Stock Controllerin managing inventory and asset flow.
• Conduct accurate monthly stock takes and ensure stock records are up to date.
• Track and manage Free of Charge (FOC) stock and client allocations.
• Prepare stock for upcoming installations and ensure correct stock movement.
• Verify and process incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy.
• Adhere to stock control processes and security protocols, keeping storerooms locked and organized.
• Attend stock-related meetings and maintain clear communication with relevant departments.
• Collect and deliver stock from suppliers when necessary.
• Monitor and manage installation consumables and generator maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments and report findings to the Stock Control Manager.

Package & Remuneration

Basic Salary – R6,000.00 per month.
