Moving Tactics, a leading South African digital signage solutions company, invites applications for an Offsite After-Hours Technical Support Internship in Johannesburg. The role focuses on remote and on-site support to keep client systems running after hours with a strong emphasis on service excellence.

• CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications preferred.
• Experience in a call centre or technical support environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage after-hours responsibilities.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide after-hours and weekend technical support in line with the Offsite Support team’s processes.
• Complete daily reporting over weekends and prepare detailed Sunday handovers for the Offsite team.
• Coordinate with the Content Department to ensure after-hours requirements are met, escalating issues to the on-call representative when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely where possible.
• Conduct telephonic and system-based store checks.
• Accurately log all incidents in the call logging system.
• Dispatch technicians and contractors to stores as required, ensuring they meet SLA response times.
• Provide remote assistance to technicians and contractors on-site.
• Escalate complex issues to 2nd and 3rd level support when necessary.
• Use the Offsite contractor liaison contact sheet to assign technicians for urgent matters (e.g., ensuring DMB systems remain operational).
• When office-based (Wednesday to Friday), assist with technical tasks such as preparing and configuring equipment.
