The role requires strong hardware/software knowledge, problem-solving, and excellent communication. An IT-related Diploma/degree is preferred, with CompTIA A+ desirable.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
• IT certification such as CompTIA A+ is desirable.
• Hybrid work ability, Centurion-based.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science/IT preferred.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

This role is pivotal in providing first-line technical assistance to users, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Respond to queries under defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
• Follow standard procedures for escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Log all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Provide basic training to users on software and hardware usage.
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist, IT Support, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with IT support ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
• A relevant IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based tasks in Centurion .
