• Proven technical sales experience within heavy industry.

Are you an experienced Technical Sales Representative with a strong background in heavy industry, mining, or industrial environments?

Our client is looking for a driven, self-motivated Technical Sales Representative to grow their customer base across Richards Bay and Northern KZN and become a trusted technical partner to maintenance and engineering teams.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region
• Build and maintain strong relationships with maintenance and engineering teams
• Provide technical advice and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
• Conduct customer site visits and inspections to identify operational requirements and sales opportunities
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
• Develop long-term relationships with key industrial clients

Requirements & Experience

• Proven technical sales experience within heavy industry
• Experience within mining, manufacturing, engineering, or other heavy industrial environments
• Strong product knowledge of valves, pumps, gaskets, piping and/or rotating equipment
• Existing relationships within the Richards Bay industrial sector will be highly advantageous
• Comfortable conducting site inspections and engaging directly with technical and engineering teams
• Strong business development and customer acquisition skills
• Self-managed, organised and results-driven
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
