SPEC Africa (Pty) Ltd. in Gauteng is seeking a technically skilled and commercially driven Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Midrand.

You will develop technical and commercial proposals, prepare tenders, quotations and cost estimates, evaluate technical specifications and design compliant solutions across security, electrical, mechanical and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with suppliers and clients, identify project risks and support successful project delivery, engaging with

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
Knowledge of tendering, BOQs, technical specs and integrated security systems.
Ability to interpret drawings and prepare technical documentation using AutoCAD and MS Excel/Project.

Responsibilities

Develop technical and commercial proposals for security and infrastructure projects.
Review specs, drawings and site conditions to prepare compliant solutions.
Prepare and price tenders, quotes, BOQs and detailed estimates.
Obtain supplier quotations and confirm pricing and lead times.
Coordinate tender returnables and client clarifications.
Identify scope, cost and contractual risks; support client presentations and hand over awarded work.
Engage with clients to clarify requirements and maintain liaison throughout the project.
