Job summary

SPEC-Africa seeks a Technical Manager for Electronic Security Systems to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance and client support across CCTV, access control, alarms and related platforms. You will oversee technical teams and ensure safety, quality and on-time project delivery.

The role requires a strong electronics background, 8+ years in security systems, and proven leadership in complex projects. Travel nationally may be required; integrity and client focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Eng or related field.
• Relevant security industry certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and related systems.
• Plan and manage multiple installation and maintenance projects.
• Recruit, mentor and develop technical staff; conduct reviews.
• Attend client meetings; provide technical advice and address escalations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards; conduct risk assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and manage project documentation.
