Job summary

Star Factory, a fully accredited training provider, is seeking a Technical L&D Manager to design and deliver end-to-end learning programmes for BET, including graduate development and bursary initiatives. You will oversee alignment with talent strategies, collaborate with the People Team, and ensure programmes meet business, technical, and cultural requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Systems Development, BIS or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in L&D / OD (advantageous).
• 5–8 years’ experience in Learning & Development.
• Proven experience managing graduate programmes, bursaries, or early talent pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, ideally in a client-facing or partnering role.
• Experience with SETA/QCTO frameworks (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end learning programmes including graduate development, bursaries and internal growth aligned to talent strategies.
• Collaborate with the People Team to align learning programmes to priorities and workforce planning.
• Ensure learning solutions align with business, technical and cultural requirements; oversee delivery and impact.
• Act as the primary L&D interface between Star Factory and BET stakeholders; build relationships with People and leadership teams.
• Facilitate alignment sessions with the People Team for integration with HR initiatives; identify opportunities to enhance initiatives.
• Provide learner support through coaching/mentoring and development plans; monitor progress and integrate learners into the organisation.
• Track programme effectiveness with metrics and translate insights into improvements; ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
