Placements24 is seeking a Lead Recruitment Consultant to spearhead its technology recruitment division in a remote-first setup across South Africa. You will own a key business vertical, build a high-performing team, drive business development, and manage client relationships for top IT professionals.

Based in Cape Town or anywhere in SA, you will deliver end-to-end technology recruitment, mentor the team, and shape growth through cutting-edge sourcing and remote-working practices.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment consultancy.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or senior consultant role focused on technology recruitment.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationships in IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technology recruitment specialists with guidance and performance management.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand the client base in tech.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders at client organisations.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for technology roles with best practices.
• Drive sourcing of highly skilled IT professionals and understand niche tech requirements.
• Set recruitment targets and KPIs for the team and monitor performance.
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities and challenges in tech recruitment.
• Ensure a superior candidate experience throughout the process.
• Contribute to growth strategy and operational efficiency; champion remote-first culture.
