Salt is a specialist technology recruitment business operating across contract and permanent markets. We’re looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Contract practice in Cape Town.

This is a business development-heavy role focused on building relationships, opening new accounts, and growing a robust contract desk. In this role you will manage end-to-end contract recruitment processes, build a strong contractor network in technology, and keep CRM and pipeline activity accurate.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recruitment experience.
• Strong appetite for business development — build your own pipeline.
• Tenacious and resilient — handles rejection well.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new client relationships through proactive business development - calls, meetings, outreach, and market mapping
• Managing existing client accounts and growing revenue within them
• Running end-to-end contract recruitment processes: briefing, sourcing, screening, submission, and placement
• Building and maintaining a strong contractor and candidate network within the technology space
• Managing contractor relationships through the lifecycle of their placements
• Keeping CRM and pipeline activity accurate and up to date
• Operating at pace - multiple roles, multiple clients, multiple conversations simultaneously
