Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a Senior Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and ensure compliance with BPC and client procedures in Vrystaat, SA. You will monitor fleet vehicles, coordinate medicals, inductions, and training, and conduct random parade inspections.

The role requires a PSIRA Grade A, a Grade 12, and proven experience in supervising security teams. Strong communication, admin, and reporting skills are essential, along with a valid Code B license and fingerprint/polygraph

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSIRA Grade A certification.
• Experience in a Senior Supervisor role.
• Proficient with computers and reporting.
• Grade 12 qualification required.
• Excellent presentation and client liaison skills.
• Strong administrative, reporting and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet targets.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit records.
• Firearm competency is advantageous.
• Valid Code B driver’s license.
• Fingerprint screening and polygraph required.
• Employment Equity Act requirements apply.

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

• Valid PSIRA certificate – Grade – A
• Previous experience in a Senior Supervisor position

• Have excellent presentation, professionalism to liaise with clients, written, verbal communication and report writing skills.
• Strong administrator skills.
• Reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to liaise with clients.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, execution of tasks timeously and meet targets.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Firearm Competency will be an advantage
• Valid code B drivers’ licence
