Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to oversee security operations in North West. You will ensure officer compliance, supervise fleet monitoring, and coordinate medicals and inductions while maintaining strong client liaison and reporting standards.

The role requires a Grade 12 qualification, a valid PSIRA Grade A certificate, and excellent presentation and communication skills. Driving licence and ability to pass background screenings are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid PSIRA Grade A certificate.
• Experience as a Senior Supervisor in security.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Strong communication, presentation and client liaison skills.
• Excellent administrative and reporting abilities.
• Code B driver’s licence.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Fingerprint screening and polygraph exam required.
• Firearm competency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check compliance of Security Officers with BPC and client procedures.
• Monitor responsible fleet vehicles and related operations.
• Coordinate medicals, TEBA, and inductions; manage bookings.
• Provide on-the-job training and PTO administration.
• Conduct random parade inspections and after-hour visits.
• Liaise with clients and support relationship management.
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations.
• Oversee payroll process monitoring and related tasks.
• Handle disciplinary actions when required.

• Random parade inspections.

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills

• Valid PSIRA certificate – Grade – A
• Previous experience in a Senior Supervisor position
• Computer literate.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Have excellent presentation, professionalism to liaise with clients, written, verbal communication and report writing skills.
• Strong administrator skills.
• Reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to liaise with clients.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, execution of tasks timeously and meet targets.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Firearm Competency will be an advantage
• Valid code B drivers’ licence
• Must pass fingerprint screening and polygraph exam.
