Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd seeks a Stock Controller to coordinate surgical stock control in the hospital setting. The role focuses on optimizing stock processes, ensuring accurate picking/packing, and maintaining compliance with Pharmacy practice guidelines.

You will collaborate with pharmacists and ward staff to maintain stock integrity, conduct daily checks, and enforce proper paperwork and barcoding standards for efficient unit operations.

Formación

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Basic Pharmacist Assistant certificate.
• Proficient computer literacy and software skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee picking and packing of stock on internal orders and ensure ethical stock is double checked and signed off by a Pharmacist or a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant before delivery to the Unit/Ward.
• Conduct daily spot checks on stock issue across areas to ensure correct items, quantities and barcodes were used.
• Review stock items not supplied on internal orders and ensure stock is ordered in advance.
• Keep the stock room clean and safe, with stock stored per manufacturer and legal requirements.
• Manage stock room efficiency and prevent obstacles or unproductivity of stock room staff.
• Liaise with Ward Clerks to ensure ward stock management complies with Group SOPs.
• Oversee bulk stock issue to wards/units on prescribed days.
• Ensure stock for delivery is clearly marked, sealed, and accompanied by correct paperwork.
• Oversee inter-hospital stock transfers and procurement as needed.
• Check packaging quality for breakages, damage, leakage, or faults impacting product quality.
• Maintain Pharmacy in a clean and professional state.
• Ensure activities comply with Pharmacy Act and Good Pharmacy Practice.
