Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Place orders with suppliers to replenish stock levels.
• Manage the receipt and storage of incoming stock.
• Ensure all stock is stored safely and in the correct location.
• Keep accurate records of stock movements and transactions.
• Monitor stock expiry dates and rotate stock accordingly.
• Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast and plan for future stock requirements.
• Identify and report any stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures.
• Train and supervise junior stock control staff.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth stock management processes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve stock management processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Contract Details:
