About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draughtsperson to join their design team in Upington . This role is essential for translating engineering designs into accurate and constructible technical drawings for a variety of structural projects. You will work closely with Structural Engineers , ensuring that all drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will possess a strong command of CAD software and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the efficient and precise execution of construction projects in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings using CAD software, based on engineers' designs and specifications.
• Prepare fabrication and erection drawings for steel and concrete structures.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and comply with relevant building codes and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design discrepancies and drawing queries.
• Maintain a drawing register and ensure proper documentation control.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and material schedules where required.
• Review shop drawings submitted by fabricators for compliance with project requirements.

Requirements
