Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Design Drafter in Rustenburg (North West, SA). You will translate complex engineering concepts into precise drawings, document designs, and ensure accuracy to industry standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers on diverse industrial projects, maintain a drawings library, and assist with Bills of Materials (BOMs). Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, GD&T knowledge, and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter or CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of drafting conventions, GD&T.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
