Guardian Recruiting (Pty) Ltd is assisting a Digital Marketing Agency in recruiting a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator for an in-office role based in Durbanville. You will lead high-performance social campaigns, especially on Meta, coordinate with SEO, design and clients, and translate objectives into strategic content plans with measurable outcomes.

You will also work with AI tools to enhance research, drafting, and reporting while maintaining human strategic oversight.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, coordination and execution of high-performance social media campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Meta platforms.
Coordinate scheduling and publishing across platforms.
Interpret campaign analytics and report on performance.
Liaise directly with clients regarding content approvals and campaign direction.
Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure search aligned social strategy.
Develop strategic monthly social media content plans aligned with client objectives.
Create high quality written content for organic and paid social campaigns.
Manage and optimise Meta advertising campaigns.
Contribute to internal marketing initiative.
