Astron Energy South Africa (Pty) Ltd seeks a Technical Manager to lead the Technical Department, guiding process engineering, analytical and product-quality evaluation, catalyst management and asset integrity at the Cape Town refinery.

The role requires strategic oversight of Process Support, Process Safety, FEI, Laboratory and Control Systems to optimise profitability while maintaining safe operating limits and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of refinery process safety, asset/mechanical integrity and process safety management.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex refinery operations.
• Ability to set and implement technical strategy across process technologies and operating envelopes.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership across Process Support, Process Safety and Design, FEI, Laboratory and Control Systems.
• Drive refinery profitability and operational stability by aligning technical goals with EVCO plans.
• Oversee integrity-management programs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
