Job summary

Astron Energy (Pty) Ltd. seeks a senior maintenance and reliability leader to own the refinery's reliability programme, drive PM and PdM strategies, and optimise maintenance costs. You will lead planning, scheduling, and turnaround execution while ensuring asset availability and safety.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, implement condition-monitoring technologies, and collaborate with SHEQ to maintain compliance and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, mechanical integrity and condition monitoring.
• Experience with reliability programmes including RCM, FMEA and RCA.
• Familiarity with CMMS/SAP PM systems and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability strategy for refinery assets including PM and PdM task selection.
• Lead turnaround and on-stream maintenance deliveries within budget and schedule.
• Oversee warehouse and maintenance inventory to sustain equipment availability.
