Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng seeks an experienced Specialist Power Systems Sales Engineer to drive growth across Southern Africa. You will manage strategic customer relationships, influence specifications, and accelerate large-scale opportunities within the power systems sector.

You will engage with end-users, consultants, EPC contractors, panel builders, utilities, and industrial clients to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and deliver profitable business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification advantageous
• Professional engineering registration advantageous

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic business development initiatives across Southern Africa
• Establish and maintain executive-level customer relationships
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and major projects
• Influence project specifications and solution design during early project phases
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and opportunity portfolio
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize project success and customer satisfaction
• Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to identify growth opportunities
• Support channel partners including contractors, EPCs, panel builders, and end-users
• Deliver solution presentations, workshops, and technical engagements with customers
