Placements24 is actively seeking a Recruitment Consultant specializing in the Mining & Resources sector in Port Elizabeth. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, source candidates for technical and leadership roles, and build strong relationships with mining clients.

Responsibilities include interviews, offers, onboarding, and staying updated on industry trends and safety regulations to secure the best talent for the Eastern Cape and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of recruitment consultancy experience focused on Mining & Resources.
• Proven track record of placing candidates in technical and operational roles.
• Strong understanding of mining lifecycle, equipment, and skills.
• Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites.
• Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for mining and resources roles.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for technical, operational, and leadership roles.
• Build and maintain relationships with mining sector clients and understand their needs.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
• Negotiate offers and manage onboarding processes.
