Placements24 is seeking a Mining Recruitment Consultant to support the mining sector in the North West province. You will identify and attract engineers, geologists and operational staff for mining companies, managing end-to-end recruitment while building key industry relationships.

This role requires deep mining knowledge, strong sourcing and interview skills, and the ability to develop talent pools across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience, ideally in mining or resources.
• Solid understanding of mining operations, terminology, and common roles in the industry.
• Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Strong business development capabilities and client relationship management.
• Familiarity with the North West province mining landscape is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for mining-specific roles including technical, operational, and managerial positions.
• Develop expertise in mining disciplines and identify key talent pools.
• Utilize diverse sourcing strategies to attract candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
• Build and maintain relationships with mining company clients and industry professionals.
• Provide market insights and consultative advice on talent acquisition within mining.
