Job summary

Metso seeks a Site Account Manager in Kathu to develop strategic relationships with mining clients and expand Metso’s product and service offerings across the Northern and Western Cape regions.

The role reports to the Senior Sales Manager and requires travel within the territory. You will collaborate with Product Support and Sales teams to deliver technical and commercial value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or technical diploma holders with minimum diploma in mechanical/metallurgical engineering or related field.
• Proven account management and sales experience in mining.
• Knowledge of mining processes including milling, crushing, grinding, pumps and flotation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting Metso’s offerings.
• Identify growth opportunities and create account plans for new business.
• Manage sales activities and opportunities using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Coordinate after-sales and technical support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Travel within Northern and Western Cape regions as required.
