Placements24 is seeking a strategic Management Accountant to contribute to financial strategy from the Welkom office. You will deliver management information to support decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvements.

The role requires CIMA or equivalent qualification and at least four years in management accounting, with strong Excel and ERP experience to drive efficiency and informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• CIMA or equivalent qualification (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA articles).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into performance drivers.
• Prepare financial models and scenario analyses for strategic projects.
• Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and investments.
• Implement and maintain internal controls over financial processes.
• Support the finance manager with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
