Placements24 seeks a proactive Management Accountant to join a growing team, working remotely with a focus on the Richards Bay area. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and KPI-driven performance reporting to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional designation (CIMA/CA(SA) preferred), with 4+ years in management accounting. Strong Excel and ERP experience, and excellent remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
• CIMA or CA(SA) designation is highly regarded.
• Minimum 4 years of management accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts with departmental heads.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary on performance.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track business performance.
• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools.
• Provide financial support for ad-hoc projects and strategic decisions.
