Job summary

Macrotec, located in South Africa, is hiring a Management Accountant to oversee our finance function and report directly to the MD. The successful candidate will prepare monthly management packs, build budgets and forecasts, and manage day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal applicant will have a relevant qualification like CIMA or CMA, experience in financial analysis, and comfort with ERP systems like D365 Business Central. This role requires the ability to work independently and provide the MD with essential financial insights.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Management Accounting such as CIMA (CGMA), CMA, or BCom.
• Experience in preparing management reports and financial analysis.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and independent work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management packs and build budgets and forecasts.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Provide financial insight to the MD for informed business decisions.
