Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent.
• 5–10 years in Training and Development.
• Experience designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training programmes.
• Experience with LMS and HR systems (Sage 300 People preferred).
• Experience with SETAs, WSPs, and ATRs.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's Learning and Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct training needs analyses and identify skills gaps to support employee development.
• Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate training programmes across technical, leadership, compliance, and soft-skills.
• Manage learning initiatives, calendars, learner records, and reporting requirements.
• Support performance management and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with WSPs, ATRs and mandatory training.
• Manage training budgets, suppliers, and relationships with external providers.
• Collaborate with HR, managers and leaders to deliver effective learning solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
