Job summary

Mothers2Mothers in Cape Town, South Africa, seeks a Senior Strategic Information Advisor to lead SI and M&E across the portfolio. You will own indicator definitions, data quality standards and reporting systems, ensuring donor and consortium reporting is accurate and defensible.

You will line-manage the M&E Specialist, shape the SI strategy with senior leadership, and coordinate with Digital Products & Learning on data systems and analytics across awards and countries.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, demography, health information systems or related.
• 7–10 years in Strategic Information, M&E or health information roles with multi-country accountability.
• Accountability for programme results reported to major donors including responding to data verification.
• Ownership of organisation-wide indicator framework or data dictionary under pressure.
• Experience representing organisation on M&E/SI with donors and partners; negotiating reporting standards.
• Line-management experience of M&E/SI professionals; setting objectives and developing analysts.
• Ability to explain programme performance to executives and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide SI leadership: define indicators, data dictionary and M&E framework for all awards and countries.
• Set data quality standards and assurance protocols across the portfolio.
• Design and approve reporting systems and results frameworks.
• Represent m2m on SI/M&E with donors, implementing partners and government counterparts.
• Lead SI and MEL responses to donor reviews, audits and data verification.
• Provide programme intelligence and decision support to executives and country leadership.
• Line-manage the M&E Specialist and coordinate with Digital Products & Learning on data systems.
• Support country teams and partners with SI inputs across awards and priority countries.
