Placements24 is seeking a Remote Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to lead data-driven assessment across multiple programs in South Africa. The role focuses on designing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and producing actionable reports to inform program improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience in M&E, with strong skills in SPSS, Stata, and R.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of monitoring and evaluation experience.
• Proficient in data analysis software (SPSS, Stata, R) and M&E methodologies.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience with logical frameworks, impact assessments, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement M&E frameworks and tools for projects.
• Design data collection methods and instruments with quality data.
• Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare M&E reports highlighting findings, successes, and areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to improve program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with donor reporting and organizational standards.
