Formación

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to join their team in East London . This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness, accountability, and impact of the charity's programs across the Eastern Cape . You will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and generating reports that inform program improvements and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, expertise in M&E methodologies, and a passion for data-driven impact assessment within the non-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust M&E plans and frameworks for various projects and programs.
• Develop data collection tools and methodologies (surveys, interviews, focus groups) and oversee data collection processes.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance, impact, and sustainability.
• Prepare comprehensive M&E reports for internal management, donors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and training to program staff on M&E best practices.
• Contribute to program design and adaptation based on M&E findings.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the M&E cycle in East London .

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the international development or non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing M&E systems, indicators, and logical frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R) and database management.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with various data collection methods and tools.
