Placements24 is assisting a well-established charitable organization in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, to appoint an experienced Non-Profit Operations Director. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of finance, HR, administration and IT to advance the mission.

The position offers hybrid work with a balance of office-based duties in Stellenbosch and remote flexibility, and opportunities to lead operational improvements across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Non-profit Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management with leadership exposure in the non-profit sector.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the organization's operations, including finance, HR, administration, and IT.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the organization's budget and financial planning processes.
• Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and support services.
• Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
