Job summary

BPO in Cape Town seeks an HR Specialist IV to partner with business leaders, delivering strategic and operational HR services across units. You will guide employee relations, performance management, engagement, talent development, and policy compliance.

You will work with HR Centers of Excellence to implement people programs, support organizational initiatives, and contribute to a positive employee experience, change projects, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support in resolving employee concerns and workplace issues through fair, objective, and timely investigations.
• Conduct workplace investigations and fact-finding activities as appropriate.
• Advise managers on the consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Support the resolution of employee relations matters through coaching, mediation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal and other functions as needed on employment-related matters.
• Support leaders in executing performance management processes, including coaching, performance improvement, and development planning.
• Conduct career development discussions and help employees understand available growth opportunities within the organization.
• Assist managers with talent development and employee recognition initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to implement employee engagement initiatives and action plans based on engagement surveys and organizational feedback.
• Support activities that promote an inclusive, collaborative, and positive workplace culture.
• Assist in planning and supporting employee engagement events and organizational initiatives.
• Support the implementation of HR programs, policy updates, organizational changes, and business initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and program changes to employees and leaders.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across assigned business areas.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret HR metrics such as attrition, engagement, and workforce trends to support business decision-making.
• Provide leaders with meaningful insights and recommendations based on HR data.
