Job summary

JVR Software in Centurion, Gauteng, seeks an experienced HR Manager to partner with the Divisional Head to drive HR initiatives supporting business expansion, site mobilization, and operational targets.

You will review, roll out, and align group HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks, ensuring NBCPSS adherence and PSIRA standards while managing payroll, recruitment, and performance processes across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years dedicated experience operating in an HR Manager role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African labour laws (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA).
• Direct working knowledge of NBCPSS Main Collective Agreement (Grades A–E wage structures, shift allowances, working hours) and PSIRA standards.
• Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS), payroll interfaces, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Divisional Head to drive HR initiatives for business expansion and site mobilization.
• Review, roll out, and align group HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks across the division.
• Ensure site contracts, rosters, overtime parameters, and working conditions comply with NBCPSS Main Collective Agreement; advise line managers on disciplinary procedures.
• Facilitate investigations and escalate disputes to Group IR as needed.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for administrative, supervisory, and operational roles; manage onboarding.
• Drive performance appraisals, KPI reviews, and coordinate training and skills development with SASSETA.
• Coordinate payroll submissions, deductions, shift allowances, and overtime sign-offs; ensure accurate processing of PSSPF and council levies.
• Maintain personnel files in line with POPIA and NBCPSS audit requirements; compile monthly HR metrics reports.
