JVR Software in Makhanda (Grahamstown), Eastern Cape, invites applications for Senior Manager: Human Resources and Development. This role provides strategic leadership of the full HR function, aligning people strategy with public-sector governance and organisational objectives.

You will advise the CEO and manage workforce planning, employee relations, talent development and HR compliance, while leading a dynamic HR team and driving transformation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in HR/IR related field.
• Eight+ years HR experience, five+ at middle management level.
• Experience in strategic and operational HR management.
• Experience in employee and labour relations including CCMA/bargaining.

Responsabilités

• Lead HR strategy and workforce planning aligned with SALBs strategic objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning and separation.
• Drive organizational development, job evaluation, organizational design and change.
• Manage employee and labour relations, disciplinary and grievance processes, union engagement and bargaining.
• Oversee remuneration, benefits, payroll, and records management.
• Lead performance management, staff training and skills development.
• Ensure HR governance, compliance, reporting to CEO/Board and committees.
