Job summary

Tailormade Solution has an opening for an HR Manager who will lead the Human Resources function and partner with executive leadership. The role oversees labour compliance, talent development, employee relations, and performance management in a South African context.

You will design learning, manage WSP/ATR submissions, and drive a high-performance culture while guiding the HR team and budget. Durban-based, market-competitive package included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in HRM, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law, or related field.
• Honours degree or SABPP Chartered/Professional registration is advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years HR experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial or senior HR BP capacity; CCMA, EE exposure.

Responsibilities

• Strategically align HR with business goals and advise executive leadership.
• Partner on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA).
• Oversee disciplinary, grievance, and incapacity processes; CCMA readiness.
• Design and implement learning, talent development, and WSP/ATR submissions.
• Lead performance management, culture, wellness, and retention initiatives.
• Manage EE Committee and EE plans/reports; BBEE transformation in HR.
