Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager in Bloemfontein to drive financial strategy and planning. The role focuses on modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and translating data into actionable insights for executives.

A hybrid work model combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with advanced modeling tools such as Anaplan or Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
• Advanced financial modeling and proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with FP&A software such as Anaplan or Hyperion is desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial results, identify key performance drivers, and explain variances from budget/forecast.
• Prepare management reports and presentations on financial performance, insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand financial drivers and support strategic initiatives.
• Improve financial planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Support business development activities by providing financial analysis for new opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for planning and reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by senior management.
