Brits, South Africa-based manufacturing company seeks an experienced Financial Manager to lead financial management and support sustainable growth.

The role blends financial strategy with operational delivery, partnering with the Board and operations to strengthen performance, manage risk, and turn data into practical decisions. The successful candidate will oversee planning, budgeting, cash-flow, and reporting in a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional designation such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA or equivalent certification.
• 8–15 years of relevant financial experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing operations, production costs and supply-chain finance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, compliance and financial reporting.
• Experience using ERP systems and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Financial strategy & planning to align with factory operations and investments.
• Cost management to improve margins and analyze production costs.
• Oversee operational and supply chain finance, manage working capital and procurement costs.
• Manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance with industry standards.
• Budgeting & forecasting for factory operations with accurate models.
• Data analytics and KPI reporting, implement ERP for real-time tracking.
• Cash flow, debt management and capital investment oversight.
• Lead and develop the finance team within a manufacturing setting.
