Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a senior financial manager for a manufacturing/FMCG environment in the Free State. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with divisional ownership, and lead the finance team to drive profitability.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in financial management, preferably in milling/manufacturing.
SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA/MBA or similar qualification.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with divisional ownership of budgets.
Report on company performance to management and EXCO.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
Lead and mentor the finance and administration team, fostering continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Design and implement new financial systems and oversee ERP.
Manage business projects and internal/external audits.
Provide strategic direction through analysis of financial statements.
