Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification required (CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum 8 years progressive financial management experience with 4+ in senior role.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, SA tax laws, and corporate finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and manage the annual budget process, as well as financial forecasting and planning.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS), and tax laws.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within financial operations.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
