Placements24 is seeking an Events and Conferencing Manager in Nelspruit to lead our venue's event operations. You will plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, collaborating with catering, AV, and venue staff to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.

The role demands strong organizational skills, budget oversight, and the ability to craft engaging event concepts while managing on-site execution and post-event analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Events Management or Conferencing.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with event planning software and standard office applications.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience managing budgets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including client liaison, budget management, and timeline adherence.
• Coordinate with internal departments (catering, AV, facilities) and external vendors to ensure flawless event delivery.
• Develop creative event concepts and proposals tailored to client needs and objectives.
• Oversee on-site event management, troubleshooting issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Manage event contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gathering feedback and preparing comprehensive reports.
