Placements24 in Mbombela (Nelspruit) seeks a proactive Remote Catering & Event Coordinator to plan and execute catering experiences from their Nelspruit hub. You will be the main client contact, coordinating with culinary and operations teams to bring clients’ visions to life and ensuring seamless event delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience in event logistics, and comfort with project management and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event coordination, catering management, or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client expectation management.
• Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and virtual collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end coordination of catering events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Develop event proposals, menus, and logistics plans with clients and teams.
• Coordinate with culinary team on menu timing and delivery requirements.
• Liaise with venues and suppliers for setup, decor and equipment.
• Ensure client requirements are documented and communicated to operations.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions for smooth event execution.
