Placements24 is assisting a dedicated charity in the North West province to appoint a visionary Program Director to lead youth development initiatives in Klerksdorp. This senior role covers strategic planning, program design, implementation oversight, and team management to maximize positive impact on young people's lives.

You will guide development and execution of programs fostering life skills, education, and employment opportunities, while building partnerships with schools and community

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Education, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program management focused on youth development.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, program design, and implementation oversight.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Excellent understanding of youth development theories, best practices, and challenges.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for youth development programs, aligning with the organization's mission and goals.
• Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of all youth-focused initiatives in Klerksdorp.
• Manage and mentor a team of program staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and fiscal responsibility.
• Champion the organization's mission and advocate for youth empowerment across the North West province.
