Placements24 is seeking a proactive Youth Development Coordinator to lead programs in Rustenburg. You will partner with local schools and community groups to empower youths through education, career readiness, and social-emotional learning.

You will design, implement, and oversee initiatives that foster growth and engagement, while mentoring participants and tracking outcomes to drive improvements. This is a community-focused role with real impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Social Work, Education or related field.
• Proven experience in program management and youth engagement.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and challenges.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive youth programs and activities focused on skill-building and personal development.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on leadership, financial literacy, and career planning.
• Mentor and support youth participants, providing guidance and encouragement.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, NGOs, and local businesses to expand program reach and resources.
• Monitor program outcomes and collect data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Organize community outreach events to engage youth and promote program awareness.
