Placements24 in Durban seeks a dynamic Youth Program Coordinator to lead engaging programs for local youth. You will design initiatives that foster skill-building, safe spaces, and positive relationships, empowering participants to realize their potential.

Bring experience in youth development and program management. You will collaborate with schools, community groups, and volunteers to deliver impactful activities, manage budgets, and promote youth empowerment in KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth development, program management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of adolescent psychology and youth engagement strategies.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with the Durban community and its youth services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a diverse range of youth programs and activities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
