Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Project Coordinator for a youth development NGO in Benoni. The role supports planning, execution, and monitoring of programs, working with managers, facilitators and young participants to ensure objectives are met.

The ideal candidate is organized, passionate about youth development, and skilled in managing timelines and resources within Gauteng. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools is desirable; the position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience in project coordination or program support, preferably with youth.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work with young people in a supportive and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of youth development projects.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Facilitate program activities and ensure effective engagement of youth participants.
• Monitor project progress and collect data for reporting and evaluation purposes.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders, including participants, parents, and community partners.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing project documentation.
