Job summary

FirstRand’s FNB Commercial Sales in Klerksdorp seeks a strategic Business Relationship Manager to lead a portfolio of high-value clients, drive growth, and ensure governance. You will nurture key stakeholder relationships, acquire new business, and onboard clients while promoting compliant practices and results-driven performance.

The role requires working from the Klerksdorp office with a focus on profitability, customer satisfaction, and proactive portfolio management in a dynamic banking

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a BRM role in commercial banking or FAIS-accredited B.Com.
• Exposure to Credit Applications in Agric space environment.
• RE qualification Credit Management exposure a must.
• Experience dealing with high level customer queries.
• Not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
• Willing to work in Klerksdorp office.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost to income to increase profitability and efficiencies for the business.
• Enhance business performance and profitability.
• Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards.
• Grow active customer base by managing existing clients and acquiring new leads.
• Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships to achieve objectives.
• Drive customer migration by recommending solutions and improving efficiencies.
• Set strategic goals and optimize use of people, finances, and technologies.
• Define a sales strategy and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
• Assess credit applications per Credit Policy within set timeframes.
• Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements.
• Compile reports to track progress and guide decisions.
• Provide timely feedback and request training where appropriate.
• Manage people by line manager responsibilities and foster growth and performance.
